The series, featuring distinguished professors from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, covers the basics of medical science and advances in the biomedical and clinical sciences.
For more than 50 years, UCLA Health System and the David Geffen School at UCLA have been leaders in patient care, medical research, and teaching. Our faculty train the health care leaders of tomorrow. Mini Med School is taught by the same professors who teach UCLA medical students.
The course offers students an introduction into basic science as it relates to medicine, disease, health, and aging. Although you will not receive a medical degree or be able to practice medicine, you will get a better understanding of the human brain and body.
