Committee Charge and Organizational Structure

The Industry Relations Committee reports to the UCLA Health Sciences Enterprise Compliance Oversight Board and is advisory to the UCLA Faculty Executive Committee and to the Dean of the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. 

This committee is charged with:

  • Acting as a resource for faculty and administration on relationships with vendors
  • Reviewing existing and proposed relationships with vendors and providing comment and recommendations with respect to such relationships
  • Developing, reviewing, and updating guidelines and resources relating to vendor relationships within the UCLA Health System and David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA
  • Providing quarterly updates to the UCLA Health Sciences Enterprise Compliance Oversight Board with copy to the UCLA Faculty Executive Committee
  • Recommending new and revised policies for the UCLA Health System and David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA

This Committee meets every other month and conducts business outside regularly scheduled meetings as directed by the Chair of the Committee.
