Dr. Rachel Ferrara provides comprehensive primary care for children, adolescents, and adults. She has a strong interest in preventive care, and likes to empower her patients through education. She performs multiple office procedures including joint injections, biopsies, colposcopy, and IUD placements.

Dr. Ferrara graduated from Columbia University with a bachelor's degree in History, and received her medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine at USC. She completed her residency training at UCLA. Dr. Ferrara is a native of Los Angeles and grew up in the San Fernando Valley. Board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, Dr. Michael J. Albertson earned his medical degree at Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. He did a straight medicine internship, his residency in Internal Medicine, and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center. He returned to Keck School of Medicine as the Director of Student Health and as a Clinical Instructor of Gastroenterology. His medical career also includes work as a gastroenterologist at Southern California Digestive Disease Consultants and Valley Gastroenterology Associates, both in Burbank, California. Immediately before coming to UCLA, he served as Assistant Professor of Medicine and Gastroenterology at State University of New York (SUNY)/Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn.

He has served on numerous committees, including the Gastroenterology Committee and the Patient Care Committee, both of which he was Chairman, at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, where he also received a compassion award. Melvin Chiu, MD

Dr. Melvin Chiu earned his medical degree at the UCLA School of Medicine and completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center. He completed his residency in Dermatology at UCLA School of Medicine.

Although originally raised in the Midwest, Dr. Natalie Edmondson earned her medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. She then completed her internship and residency in Otolaryngology (ENT) at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York.  Finally, Dr. Edmondson moved nearly 3000 miles to Los Angeles to pursue an additional year of specialty training in Laryngology and Voice Disorders with Dr. Gerald Berke at UCLA in Westwood. 

 Now a permanent resident of California, Dr. Edmondson brings comprehensive medical and surgical care of the ears, nose, and throat to Thousand Oaks.  She sees patients of all ages and strives to help all patients feel at ease in her care. More »

Dr. Rebecca Gordon, Rheumatology, Thousand Oaks Rebecca Gordon, MD

Dr. Rebecca Gordon is originally from the Mid-West, but loves the weather out here in Los Angeles. She graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Psychology, and received her medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine.  Her Internal Medicine residency was completed at Harbor-UCLA medical center, and she then went on to a two-year fellowship in Rheumatology at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine.

Dr. Jenny Hu earned her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior from UC Davis. She then earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Masters of Public Health (MPH) degrees through a combined degree program at UCLA. She completed both her Dermatology residency and Procedural Dermatology fellowship (Mohs micrographic surgery, cosmetic dermatology) at UCLA as well, and has thoroughly enjoyed her time training at UCLA as she is very excited to stay on as faculty.

Dr. Tracy Huynh, Interventional Cardiology, Thousand Oaks

Dr. Huynh grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and received her medical degree from Boston University. After completing a residency in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine, she went on to complete additional training in Interventional Cardiology and Peripheral Vascular Diseases from Yale University.

Dr. Huynh's clinical interests include the treatment of coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, prevention of heart disease, the treatment of claudication due to peripheral vascular disease, women's health, and angioplasty and coronary and peripheral stenting. Lorne Label, MD

Dr. Label is a Board Certified Neurologist who has extensive training in the treatment of all neurological diseases of adults and children. The field deals with brain, spinal cord, nerve and muscle disorders. Dr. Label received his Bachelor of Arts with high honors at the University of Texas at Austin. After a year of graduate school at University of Texas, Austin where he researched and taught Neurobiology, he graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and went on to complete Internal Medicine and Neurology at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. This was followed by a Clinical Neuromuscular Fellowship with W. King Engel MD at the USC Neuromuscular Center. In 1993 he was promoted to Clinical Associate Professor of Neurology at UCLA. More»

Over the course of her fellowship, she has gained significant experience in managing patients with advanced lung disease, including transplant, chronic obstructive lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, and interstitial lung disease. Na Shen, MD

Dr. Shen grew up in Columbus, Ohio and earned her Bachelor's degree in Biology at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. She then spent a year as a post-baccalaureate research fellow at the NIH in Bethesda, Maryland before attending the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore.  Dr. Shen eventually made her way to California and completed her internal medicine residency at Cedars Sinai Medical Center followed by fellowship in Endocrinology at UCLA.  Her research interests have included diabetes, obesity, and PCOS.   Her clinical interests also include thyroid disease, osteoporosis, and reproductive endocrinology.

In her spare time, Dr. Shen enjoys cooking, biking, reading, and watching movies.  She also speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese. More»
