The UCLA Dermatological Surgery and Laser Center offers comprehensive services for the management of skin cancer and non-cancerous growths requiring surgery as well as various laser and cosmetic procedures. Recent innovations in cosmetic dermatology and laser surgery allow for the treatment of various conditions.
The UCLA Dermatological Surgery and Laser Center offers state-of-the-art lasers for the removal of unwanted hair, tattoos, port-wine stains, facial vessels, and sun spots. In addition, various medical and surgical treatments to improve sun-damaged or aging skin and some scars are available. These include Botox injections, chemical peels, collagen/dermal fillers, microdermabrasion, and non-ablative lasers/light sources/radio-frequency devices. Other services offered include treatment of spider veins with sclerotherapy and Botox treatment for hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating).
