The Macular Disease Center provides a full spectrum of clinical, educational, and rehabilitative services to patients with macular diseases and promotes research into the fundamental mechanisms of these diseases. The center offers patients with macular diseases diagnostic evaluations, standard therapies, and innovative methods of treatment through ongoing research protocols. A monthly support group for patients with macular disease and their families is sponsored jointly by the center and the Braille Institute.
