The UCLA Hand Center specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with hand injuries and pathological disorders affecting the hand. These disorders include:
- Flexor and extensor tendon injuries
- Peripheral nerve injuries of the upper extremity
- Fractures and dislocations of the hand and wrist
- Microsurgery replantation and revascularization of amputations of the fingers and hand
- Rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis of the hand
- Nerve compression syndromes such as carpal tunnel syndrome
- Chronic wrist pain
- Tumors of the hand
- Congenital deformities of the hand in children
