Dr. Melinda Braskett is the Medical Director of the Food and Drug Allergy Care Center at UCLA and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She is a board certified allergist and clinical immunologist. She is also board certified in pediatric medicine. Dr. Braskett graduated with honors from the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University in New York City. She completed her internship and residency at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, and her fellowship in Clinical Immunology and Allergy at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Dr. Braskett's clinical experience and expertise focuses on food and drug allergy in children and adults. She also has extensive training in primary immunodeficiency and immune dysregulation syndromes. She has authored clinical and original research articles, and presented at national meetings. Her research interests include diagnostic clinical investigations of food and drug hypersensitivity and pharmacogenomics. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology and the American College of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology.
