Dr. Kermani trained at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota and joined the UCLA faculty in 2012. She sees patients with all rheumatologic diagnoses but has a special interest and expertise in vasculitis. Dr. Kermani spent two additional years training in vasculitis at Mayo Clinic as part of the Vasculitis Clinical Research Consortium. She is an active member in the vasculitis community. She has ongoing research collaborations and several publications in large-vessel vasculitis.
