Dr. Huynh grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. She attended college at the University of California San Diego. She received her medical degree from Boston University. After completing a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine, she went on to complete additional training in Interventional Cardiology and Peripheral Vascular Diseases from Yale University.
Dr. Huynh’s clinical interests include the treatment of coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, prevention of heart disease, the treatment of claudication due to peripheral vascular disease, women’s health, and angioplasty and coronary and peripheral stenting. She is involved in several clinical trials and has written several book chapters on the treatment of peripheral vascular disease. Her work can be viewed on www.cliuniversity.com.
Dr. Huynh speaks Vietnamese and basic Spanish. In her limited free time, she enjoys surfing, snowboarding, and hiking with her family, having climbed some of the highest peaks in the world including Mount Kilimanjaro, Cotopaxi and most recently Patagonia in Chile.
