Dr. Rigved Tadwalkar obtained his M.D. from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He also holds an M.S. in Physiology & Biophysics from Georgetown University and a B.A. from the University of Southern California in Biological Sciences and Sociology. Prior to medical school, he taught Physiology as adjunct faculty at Santiago Canyon College in Orange County, CA. Dr. Tadwalkar finished his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center & the West Los Angeles VA Hospital. During residency, he also took an active role in medical education by serving as Housestaff Representative on several hospital committees dedicated towards resident development.

Dr. Tadwalkar joined the faculty of UCLA in 2013, serving as a Clinical Instructor at the David Geffen School of Medicine. His current interests include quality improvement, clinical outcomes, and the use of social media in healthcare. He also pursues research in cardiovascular medicine, having recently presented and published in the fields of interventional cardiology as well as heart failure and transplantation.
