Seth Gamradt, MD is a specialist in the field of orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine at UCLA with an emphasis on shoulder, knee, and hip arthroscopy as well as shoulder replacement.
A native of Minnesota, Dr. Gamradt attended college at Pepperdine University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Gamradt then graduated with honors from the Cornell University Medical College in New York City. Residency training was completed in Orthopaedic Surgery at UCLA during which Dr. Gamradt completed a one year research fellowship as well.
After residency, Dr. Gamradt completed fellowship in sports medicine and shoulder surgery at top-ranked Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. During fellowship, Dr. Gamradt was an assistant team physician to the New York Giants football team. Dr. Gamradt has been with his wife Kelsey since 1994 and has one daughter, Adison (2). Dr. Gamradt has been involved in both clinical and laboratory research for over 10 years and is the author of numerous peer-reviewed research articles, book chapters, and presentations. He is board eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Gamradt is a member of many professional organizations, including: American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Gamradt will bring a new focus to UCLA on complex shoulder surgery including primary and revision shoulder replacement, all arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and shoulder stabilization, and operative treatment of shoulder fractures.
