On March 1, 2013, UCLA HealthLink was deployed to UCLA Medical Group managed care providers and vendors to view coverage eligibility, submit or view managed care referrals, and to look up managed care claim status, in place of legacy systems.UCLA HealthLink - secure remote access for community providers

On June 10, 2014, we are piloting an additional feature within UCLA HealthLink that enables Community Referring Providers (non-UCLA) to view the UCLA chart of patients with whom they have an established clinical relationship. UCLA HealthLink has the power to enhance continuity of care, improve communication among referring and UCLA Health providers, and increase referring provider satisfaction with UCLA Health.

System Requirements

Requirements For PC-based participants:

  • Internet Explorer 7.0 to 9.0, Mozilla Firefox 4.0 or newer or Google Chrome 5.0 or newer (JavaScript and Java enabled)
  • Windows 7, Vista, XP or 2003 Server
  • Cable modem, DSL, or better Internet connection
  • Dual-core 2.4GHz CPU or faster with 2GB of RAM (recommended)
  • Telephone line for toll dial-in access
