Initiated in 1970, this program is dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients who suffer from arthritis or impaired function related to the hip, knee, foot, ankle, shoulder, and elbow. The program is in the forefront of innovation in the design of joint implants and improved surgical techniques in collaboration with UCLA's Biomechanics and Bioengineering Research Unit.
