Event Description
Hepatitis C is now reaching epidemic proportions. The Centers for Disease Control have recommended that all baby boomers get tested for Hepatitis C virus. Rimma Shaposhnikov, M.D., UCLA gastroenterologist, will discuss who is at risk, what testing entails, which new treatments are available, and the consequences of avoiding testing and treatment.
