Event Description

Join Neil Martin, MD, chair of the UCLA Department of Neurosurgery and co-director of the UCLA Stroke Center, as he discusses new treatments for arteriovenous malformation (AVM), an abnormal collection of tangled blood vessels in the brain that can cause hemorrhage and stroke. Dr. Martin will review minimally invasive procedures such as an endovascular embolization and stereotactic radiosurgery, and current UCLA clinical trials to prevent stroke.
