The Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility provides medical care for women suffering from problems with menstruation, symptoms of masculinization, abnormal milk production of the breast, menopause, hormone replacement, and endometriosis.
The diagnosis and treatment of infertility is managed in the Fertility Center, which offers complete services to couples seeking medical and surgical treatment for infertility. Services include diagnostic laparoscopy, ovulation induction using ultrasonic and hormonal monitoring techniques, therapeutic insemination including intra-uterine insemination, in-vitro fertilization (IVF), intrafallopian transfer (GIFT, ZIFT, TET), microsurgical techniques for the repair of tubal disease, and special procedures for treatment of endometriosis.
A donor oocyte is available for women who, because of age or other condition, are unable to conceive.
