The Achievement, Behavior, Cognition (ABC) Child Programs in the Neuropsychiatric Hospital at UCLA provides psychiatric services through the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). ABC Child Programs are time-limited, integrated programs dedicated to assisting children ages 6-12 and their families to promote positive emotional and behavioral health. Our programs are based upon the most current evidence-based clinical practices and integrate positive approaches to patient care.

The ABC Programs specialize in the assessment and treatment of a variety of psychological and developmental conditions and behaviors, including:

  • Mood Disorders
  • Anxiety Disorders
  • OCD
  • ADHD
  • Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD)
  • Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Developmental Disorders
  • Some Genetic Syndromes
  • Difficulties with impulse control and emotional regulation
