Dumont-UCLA Intestinal Transplant Program and Intestinal Failure Center
This program offers a comprehensive assessment of adults and children with short bowel syndrome, intestinal failure, and dependence on total parenteral nutrition (TPN). Many treatment options are available including transplantation of the intestine alone, transplantation of the intestine with other organs, rehabilitation of the intestine, medical therapies for the intestine, surgical therapies for the intestine including resection, plication and lengthening. A thorough review of TPN nutritional support is also performed by an experienced team of medical TPN specialist.
