UCLA Medical Center is among the first in the nation to use capsule endoscopy for the early detection and diagnosis of gastrointestinal tract disease, including obscure bleeding, Crohn's disease, malabsorption or celiac disease, and intestinal tumors. This non-invasive diagnostic exam provides and enhanced level of visual imaging, improving the chances of accurate diagnosis.
