The Division of Rheumatology welcomes referrals of patients for consultative, diagnostic, and therapeutic services for both outpatient and inpatient care. In addition to general rheumatology and arthritis, areas of special interest include lupus, vasculitis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, Reiter's syndrome, scleroderma, and needle arthroscopy of the knee. Patients may be referred for autoimmune or musculoskeletal complaints to a specific rheumatologist or to the division for the earliest available appointment.
Emergencies are seen on a same-day basis by an on-call team of a fellow and a faculty member.
