The UCLA Fetal Diagnostic and Therapeutic Center offers a complete range of antepartum diagnostic and therapeutic services. Patients may be referred for antepartum fetal heart rate testing (including non-stress testing, breast stimulation stress testing and oxytocin challenge testing), high-resolution obstetrical ultrasound, fetal echocardiography, biophysical profile, fetal Doppler flow studies (in selected cases), chorion villus sampling, amniocentesis, fetal umbilical vein blood sampling, and fetal surgery.
Perinatal consultation and prepregnancy evaluation for high-risk patients may be arranged through the center.
