Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists use "occupation" meaning purposeful activity, as a means of preventing, reducing or overcoming physical, cognitive and developmental disabilities. They facilitate function and adaptation environments, using tools and methods to increase independence in self-care and activities of daily living.

Specialty programs and protocols include stroke clinical pathways, THR clinical pathway, NICU, pediatric and dysphagia programs in coordination with Speech Pathology.  In addition, there is an outpatient Hand Program.
