BIO
David Cutler, M.D. is board certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Cutler completed his premedical education at Dartmouth College in 1981. He then received honors from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston in Medicine, OB/GYN, Psychiatry, Intensive Care, Dermatology and Hematology. He completed his residency training in Family Medicine at UCLA.
Dr. Cutler is active in medical education as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He has been past Chairman of the Medical Education Committee, Resource Management Committee and Family Medicine Committee at Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica. .
Dr. Cutler is active in the UCLA program in Global Health. He has led yearly missions to Haiti providing medical care and education at a rural primary care clinic. He has also explored international health during periods of practice in New Zealand and Myanmar (Burma).
Dr. Cutler is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and one of his areas of special interest is preventive cardiology. His office is equipped to perform treadmill stress test.
