BIO
Dr. Watson's research interests include developmental and novel therapeutic endoscopic techniques. These include primary and secondary endoscopic therapies for obesity, treatment of post-surgical complications, natural orifice surgery, endoscopic suturing, diagnostic and interventional endoscopic ultrasound for pancreaticobiliary diseases, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography.
Dr. Watson completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of California, San Francisco. He then went on to complete an advanced endoscopy fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital. He is board-certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine, and is a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Gastroenterology, and American Gastroenterological Association.
