Additional Information
Dr. Leslie Carranza, board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, provides comprehensive obstetrical and gynecologic care. Her philosophy is that each patient is unique and should be cared with empathy and a sprinkling of humor. Treatment plans should take into account the person as a whole, all within the context of family and other support networks, carefully weighing the risks and benefits of medical intervention. Her areas of interest within medicine include: Global Health (works with prontointernational.org), patient safety, and honest/transparent physician and patient communication (i.e. error disclosure).
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband, exercising with Zumba, and exploring new areas of the world.
