Dr. Jeffrey R. Lewis graduated with honors from Washington University, where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He received his medical degree from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha. Following medical school, he completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Chicago Medical Center. He then served as Chief Fellow, Division of Gastroenterology, at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He has co-authored articles in peer-reviewed journals and presented his research in inflammatory bowel disease and capsule endoscopy at national meetings.
