Dr. Ora Fried attended medical school at Sackler School of Medicine-New York Program in Tel Aviv, Israel. She then did a Medicine-Pediatrics residency in Phoenix, Arizona followed by a Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at California Pacific Medical Center and Alameda County Medical Center in San Francisco/Oakland, California.

Her interests include general pulmonology, asthma, chronic obstructive lung disease, tuberculosis, interstital lung disease and pulmonary hypertension as well as healthcare disparities in minority populations and quality improvment. She spends her free time volunteering in a tuberculosis hospital in Haiti, hiking, and participating in triathlons and marathons.
