BIO: After completing his Advanced Aesthetic and Microsurgery Fellowship at The Mayo Clinic, Jaco H. Festekjian, M.D., F.A.C.S., joined the Department of Surgery and was appointed Assistant Clinical Professor in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Dr. Festekjian has since established a thriving practice with an impeccable safety record. Cosmetic surgery expertise includes:
abdominoplasty,
breast augmentation,
breast reduction,
body contouring,
facial cosmetic surgery and
dermal fillers.
Dr. Festekjian is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery as well as the American College of Surgeons. Professional Memberships include the American College of Surgeons. Professional memberships include the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgery, and the California Society of Plastic Surgery.
Areas of clinical expertise include: reconstructive surgeries requiring microsurgery, such as breast reconstruction, offering various immediate as well as delayed FLAP procedures, including DIEP, TRAM, and Latissimus.
In addition, Dr. Festekjian has research interests in the clinical arena, specifically in the area of breast reconstruction, augmentation and reduction.
