Dr. Jane Deng is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Department of Medicine.
She is a graduate of the Joint Medical Program at UC-Berkeley and UC-San Francisco, where she earned her M.S. and M.D. degrees, respectively. She then did her residency training in Internal Medicine, a post-doctoral research fellowship, and clinical fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care at the University of Michigan.She joined the faculty at UCLA in 2005. In addition to her position as an attending physician in pulmonary clinic and the Medical Intensive Care Unit, Dr. Deng is an active researcher who is studying immune responses against influenza and bacterial infections of the lung.
