Two Locations — Same Excellent Services

Some of the services formerly offered in Westwood have been moved to UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica, including geriatrics, orthopaedics, some medicine patients, some pediatrics and many inpatient oncology services.

In addition, depending on the patient’s medical needs and bed availability, patients requiring hospitalization may be admitted in either Westwood or Santa Monica. When necessary and appropriate, emergency patients in Westwood may be transferred and treated at our Santa Monica hospital.

The Santa Monica hospital is also undergoing a major rebuilding project that will result in a 271-bed hospital with an additional 315,000 square feet of new space. Whether our patients are being treated at UCLA Health’s clinics or hospitals in Westwood or Santa Monica, they will receive the same exceptional care and compassion that is associated with UCLA.
