UCLA Oncology Program Reaches out

UCLA Santa Monica Hematology-Oncology
Practice’s new state-of-the-art infusion center
To make access easier for patients and referring physicians, UCLA has made sweeping changes in the way cancer care is delivered. Among those changes:
  • Community oncology practices were created in three Southern California cities — Santa Clarita, Santa Monica and Pasadena.
  • A far-reaching Translational Oncology Research International (TORI) network with affiliated oncology offices throughout California and in six other states offers leading-edge clinical trials to patients.
  • A patient-services office was established to help patients with any problems they may encounter.
  • A patient hotline, 1-888-ONC-UCLA, makes contacting the practices easier.
  • UCLA Santa Monica Hematology-Oncology Practice opened a new state-of-the-art infusion center.
