Volunteer to Make a Difference

UCLA Health Vital Signs Spring 2009 issue: Volunteer to Make a DifferenceUCLA Health seeks front-line volunteers to staff the information desks, ambassador programs and surgical waiting areas. The mission of our world-class volunteer program is to enhance the patient experience and support our team of dedicated medical staff at our hospitals in Westwood and Santa Monica.

Volunteers must possess good customer-service skills, enjoy helping others and be able to represent the UCLA community. Some areas require basic computer skills. The commitment is just one four-hour shift per week. Mornings and afternoons are available. Early risers — 6 a.m. — are also needed for our greeter program.
