UCLA Heart Transplant Program Best in U.S.

The federal Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has recognized Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center’s Heart Transplant Program as the nation’s best. The survey by HRSA, an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is designed to evaluate and recognize the country’s highest performing organ-transplant programs. “This remarkable achievement is a testament to the efforts of our entire UCLA team,” says Abbas Ardehali, M.D., surgical director of the UCLA Heart Transplant Program. “We are incredibly proud of our program, which continues to serve so many patients with this life-saving procedure.”
