Plan Properly to Avoid Medical Problems While Traveling

VS-Summer11-TravelingSummertime is travel time, and vacationers planning trips to developing or exotic locales are advised to plan ahead. Any vaccinations that are needed, including yellow fever, typhoid and hepatitis A, should be obtained at least four to six weeks prior to the trip. Contact your primary physician to schedule a vaccination appointment, or call 1-800-UCLA-MD1 (1-800-825-2631) to find a travel physician or clinic that can administer the vaccines.
