The Ambulatory Surgery Center provides preanesthetic evaluation and anesthetic care for all types of "same day" surgeries in an efficient and caring setting. Patients may receive general anesthesia, deep sedation, spinal or epidural anesthesia, or a nerve block for analgesia of a specific body area, tailored to the needs of short surgeries. Patients from infant through elderly are provided with anesthetic techniques that promote rapid recovery and appropriate postoperative pain relief.
