The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery provides consultation and treatment for disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Its faculty members provide comprehensive services for orthopaedic specialties, including:
- Joint replacement and reconstructive surgery
- Hand and microvascular surgery
- Sports medicine
- Arthroscopy
- Foot and ankle surgery
- Pediatric orthopaedics
- Spinal diseases
- Orthopaedic trauma
- Orthopaedic oncology
- Metabolic bone disease
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery faculty will evaluate and treat all patients with acute orthopaedic problems in our Orthopaedic Center within 24 hours. If necessary, patients will be referred for specialty care.
The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UCLA offers care at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center and Orthopaedic Hospital.
