Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders Partial Hospitalization Program

The UCLA Obsessive-Compulsive Disorders Partial Hospitalization Program is an intensive psychiatric day-treatment program designed to evaluate and treat adults with severe obsessive-compulsive disorders and other related anxiety disorders.

The program operates from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, year-round. Comprehensive diagnostic assessment, medication treatment, and individual cognitive-behavioral therapy are provided. Additionally, patients receive group therapy focusing on cognitive-behavioral techniques, occupational rehabilitation, symptom management, and medication education. Family education, family therapy, and family support groups are also provided as needed.

An interdisciplinary staff of psychiatrists, behavioral therapists, nurses, occupational therapists, and social workers provide patient care. Transportation may be arranged for most patients.
