Scientific Interests
Dr. Helen Rebecca Rausch's research interest has been primarily in the area of human breast cancer, with a focus on the effect of chemotherapy and hormonal therapy administration on neurobehavior and quality of life measures. With more than one million new cases of breast cancer in the world each year and more than two million survivors of breast cancer in the United States alone, the impact of medical therapy on neurocognition and the activities of daily living in breast cancer survivors is a research issue of major importance.
