UCLA Daltrey/Townshend Teen Cancer Program
In a partnership with legendary rockers Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend, UCLA Health System has announced the establishment of the UCLA Daltrey/Townshend Teen Cancer Program. The initiative funds the building of specialty units at UCLA for young cancer patients, where they are treated together and housed in adjoined rooms designed to help them cope with difficult treatment and long stays.

Operation Mend is a unique partnership between Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, and the V.A.-Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. Operation Mend was established to help treat several U.S. military personnel wounded during service in Iraq and Afghanistan. |
