Dr. Selch received his B.S. degree in biological sciences from the University of Wisconsin in Madison, and completed his M.D. degree at the University of California in Los Angeles. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and then a residency in Radiation Oncology at UCLA.
After completion of residency training, he joined the UCLA faculty as an adjunct assistant professor.
Clinical interests of Dr. Selch include brain tumors, soft tissue sarcomas, lung cancer, pediatric malignancies, total body irradiation and stereotactic radiosurgery.
Dr. Selch has received a Clinical Fellowship and a Career Development Award from the American Cancer Society. He is active in Children's Cancer Group (CCG), Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG) and Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG) and serves on the review board for Oncology International Journal for Cancer Research and the International Journal for Radiation Oncology, Biology and Physics.
