Healthfinder® is an excellent place to start for information on almost any medical condition. The site is managed by the US Department of Health and Human Services and most of the links are pre-screened for usefulness and accuracy.

National Institute of Health Information Index helps you identify the Institute that researches your health topic. Finding the right Institute is an important step in finding answers to health-related questions. After each subject term, you will find the abbreviated name of the NIH institute along with a telephone number to call for information on that subject. In addition, we provide a link to the relevant Institute. It's important to note that the links will not take you immediately to information on that subject. You will be taken to the home page of the relevant Institute.
