Urgent Care
Urgent Care is walk-in medical service for conditions which can't wait for an appointment, but are not emergencies. Urgent Care centers do not replace long term primary physician care. If we spot serious symptoms, we will refer you to a specialist or emergency room in the area.
Urgent Care services include:
- cuts
- burns
- sprains
- colds/flu
- ear infections
- sore throats
- rashes
- sunburns
- animal/insect bites
- asthma
- urinary tract infections
- dehydration
- back pain
Urgent Care vs. Emergency care
Urgent Care bridges the gap between primary physicians and emergency rooms. You receive the professional care of family and emergency medicine doctors without a long wait or high cost. We will also refer you to specialists if the need exists. However, if you feel that the condition is life threatening, then go to the nearest emergency room.
Walk-in Care
Walk-in Care means no appointment necessary. Please arrive with your pre-registration form ready so we can serve you faster. Or, register at the front desk upon arrival. If you don't have a primary care physician, or don't have the time to wait for an appointment, a doctor at Playa Marina Walk-in Urgent Care Center may be the best option. We can also refer you to a specialist in the area if the need exists.
