Smoking Cessation Programs
1. UCLA Freedom From Smoking Program
UCLA Health is now offering an 8-session smoking cessation program to help its employees, family members, and people in the community to finally kick the habit! The "Freedom From Smoking®" program is a well-proven program designed by the American Lung Association®.
The sessions will be held in the 200 UCLA Medical Plaza Building, Suite 204 and runs 90 minutes to 2 hours on Tuesday evenings, 4:00pm - 6:00pm
As part of UCLA Wellness Initiative, the discounted cost for UCLA employees is $100 (for non-UCLA employees, the cost is $150).

2. UCLA Psychology Clinic: Quit Smoking Group
The Psychology Clinic at UCLA is offering 7-week group program designed to help you quit smoking. This is an intensive behavioral treatment program for smoking cessation. This program will assist you in every step of the process of quitting smoking, including preparation to quit, quitting, and maintenance. You must sign up for all eight treatment sessions. Read more »

The total cost for all 8 sessions is $100 for UCLA employees and $150 for non-UCLA employees

2. Volunteers Needed for a Weight Training & Smoking Cessation Study.
The purpose of this project is to determine the effects of a 12-week resistance training and Nicotine-Replacement Therapy program on cardiovascular function among regular smokers.
