Breed: Yellow Lab PAC Starting Date: August 1998 Hospitals Visited: Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center Areas Served: 5W, NPI, Surgical Waiting Area Interesting Facts: Folks called Yukon the "stuffed animal.” He really didn't have any special tricks. He just liked to hang out, especially on a patient's bed. He was very mellow, loved his sister Piper and brother Ocho, and had a special fondness for Jiff Peanut Butter, Extra Crunchy. His favorite time was the PAC Holiday Caroling and after he passed away, I kept up the tradition, by dressing up as a Rudolph to honor him, even though I am not much of a singer. Yukon was a rescue dog, who in the end really rescued me and gave me the opportunity to be a part of the PAC program and the UCLA Family. He was a good boy.
