International Volunteer

The non-student program accepts many International volunteers here for long and short term stays. Volunteers are required to stay for a minimum of one month, volunteering four hours per week and cannot exceed 25 per week.

Volunteer Services requires all perspective International volunteers to complete the following checklist prior to making an appointment for an interview with a Volunteer Coordinator. Interviews are by appointments only. Walk-in applications will not be accepted. UCLA Health will not issue volunteer status until all requirements listed below are met.  You should allow 2-3 weeks for processing.

*** Important Additional Information:
A $150 processing fee per applicant will be applied. Please contact Lisa Harden at (310) 267-8182 for more information.
Incomplete applications will cause a delay. Volunteer Services will communicate any request for additional documentation directly to the exchange visitor. Applications will be reviewed on a first-come first-serve basis. Volunteer Services does not guarantee volunteer placement.
