Saturday, October 18, 2014
Tamkin Auditorium
Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center

The only such course offered on the West Coast of the United States, the Fourth Annual Fetal Echocardiography Symposium at UCLA will offer a thoroughly revised, clinically-oriented series of state-of-the-art presentations directed towards all health-care professionals involved with fetal cardiac screening and fetal echocardiography. Through clinically-oriented presentations and live scanning sessions, attendees will improve their competence in fetal cardiac imaging, learning how to optimize image quality, how to scan and evaluate the normal fetal heart, and how to evaluate abnormalities of the four chamber view, outflow tracts and the three-vessel view. More advanced presentations will review important clinical pearls related to z-scores, quantitative evaluation of fetal cardiac function, and first trimester fetal cardiac imaging. Opportunities for questions and discussion will be provided. In addition, each attendee will receive a complimentary copy of the educational DVD, "Fetal Echocardiography Gold Edition Plus" (created by Dr. DeVore).
