The Department of Pediatrics and the UCLA Children's Discovery and Innovation Institute (CDI Institute) at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine encourage multidisciplinary child health research and training across the spectrum of basic, translational, clinical and health services research.

One of the major goals of the CDI Institute is to train pediatric subspecialty physician-scientists who will focus on improving the fundamental understanding of pediatric diseases and devising innovative approaches for treatment. Through the generous support of Harry Winston, Inc., the Harry Winston Fellowship Awards were established to provide key support for competitively selected UCLA pediatric scholars - the Harry Winston Fellows - in their second and third years of training.  This funding is for one year.  Fellows can submit a competitive renewal for a second year of funding.

Please see CDI Harry Winston Fellowship Award RFA for eligibility criteria and application submission details.
