Mr. Favela joined the CARE Center team in July 2020 as the Prevention Outreach Coordinator. Mr. Favela is actively pursuing a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology from Azusa Pacific University. His passion for public health, health equity, and understanding how viral transmission disproportionately affects disadvantaged communities and people of color, has led him to clinical research.
Prior to CARE Center, Freddy oversaw enrollment and recruitment for a state-funded program that provided free prostate cancer treatment for men who are of low-income and uninsured. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from Azusa Pacific University.
