I am originally from Michigan but left the cold to go to the USC Primary Care Physician Assistant Program where I graduated in 1988. I worked at CIGNA Healthplans in downtown LA, Pacific Oaks Medical Group, and spent 18 years at USC in hematology/bone marrow transplant and HIV medicine with an emphasis in HIV malignancies. I did a brief stint at United Health doing pre-authorizations for oncology/radiation/ and genetic testing. I have been with UCLA for 1 year doing a combination of clinical work in research as well as operational and administrative support of the research unit. Of late, I have been focusing on clinical research in COVID prevention, treatments and vaccines. I am extremely proud to work with, and support this amazing group of clinicians and research staff. When I am not working I love to garden, rescue animals, and listen to music - especially musicals.
