I started working for UCLA School of Medicine in 2008. In 2012 I took a position on north campus in Political Science & assisting with African American Studies. In 2014 I took a position with Neurobiology as CFO with a dual employment in Biomathematics until 2016. In the summer of 2016 & 2017 I held a dual employment with Political Science while remaining CFO of Neurobiology. On January 1st 2019 I returned home to Department of Medicine to accept the position of MSO. On May 1st 2019 I accepted the job as MSO of CARE. As MSO of the CARE Center I take care of all operational needs. The UCLA Clinical AIDS Research and Education (CARE) Center Division Administrator provides oversight and directs the administrative functions of the unit including fiscal management of multi million dollar portfolios with budgets comprised of multiple large-scale national and international research networks and clinical trials; provide direct support and supervision to CARE staff including senior-level supervisors, clinical and regulatory program managers, fund management teams and administrative support staff; in addition, oversee staff and academic personnel administration, material management, and contract and grant administration for portfolio of complex research networks and clinical trials. I'm married with two children, both boys and love animals. My household has 2 dogs, 3 cats & a 100 gallon aquarium with an assortment of fish.
